GET TO KNOW ME

Hi, I'm Izelmé.

I am a third year photography student at Open Window, also double majoring Communication Design.

I have a passion for all things photography (obviously), nature and music. I'm an animal-lover at heart and absolutely adore pet photography which I hope to explore more. I'm also a part-time musician and singer/songwriter, so you can find me at your local hangout singing some tunes every now and again. My other hobbies include reading, hiking and my never-ending mission to find the world's most delicious Eggs Benedict.

Some of my skills include graphic design which I enjoy incorporating into photographic projects. I'm absolutely obsessed with portrait photography, there is something very magical about capturing a person's essence where you can see their whole being and personality in just one photograph.

I look forward to exploring more genres, meeting interesting individuals and expanding my skills further. I live for the 'remember that time when' moments. My goal and passion is to capture those real and raw connections that people can one day get all nostalgic and sentimental about.
